**The parade is always the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving with a rain date of the following Thursday**

With over a hundred entries each year, Rome's Christmas Parade has delighted citizens of Rome and surrounding counties for over 60 years. Our parade is a non-commercial, non-profit event organized by a volunteer committee of caring citizens.

The Grand Marshal of the parade is an "unsung hero" from our community who has given sacrificially of their time and talents with little recognition in return. The Grand Marshal leads the parade down Broad Street and is sponsored by Heritage First Bank, right here in Rome. The Grand Marshal is announced and honored at a Breakfast hosted by the Bank at Coosa Country prior to the parade each year.
